Chaim Frenkel
ACCA
Chaim joined Haffner Hoff as a trainee in 2014 qualifying as a certified accountant in 2018.
In addition to general practice work, Chaim provides VAT compliance and advisory services to clients in a range of sectors.
Dov Schwarz
FCCA
Having spent several years abroad, Dov moved back to the UK and joined the practice in 1986 and was promoted to partner in 1997. Dov has gained experience in many areas of general practice and provides accounts, audit and tax services to a broad range of clients including the property and charity sector.
David Silbiger
David started his accountancy career at a local firm in 2009, gaining experience in all areas of general practice.
In 2017, David joined Haffner Hoff, where he manages a portfolio of owner managed business clients across a range of sectors, with a particular interest in the area of residential property
Howard Schwalbe
ACA
Howard trained and qualified at a five-partner practice in Manchester City centre, before eventually setting up his own practice specialising in the charity and NFP sector. In 2019 Haffner Hoff merged with Howard’s practice, with Howard becoming our dedicated Charities partner.
Gedalya Haffner
ACCA
Gedalya joined Haffner Hoff as a trainee in 2011, qualifying as a certified accountant in 2015.
Gedalya has built up his knowledge and experience in general practice over the years and now manages a broad portfolio of clients, providing accounting and business advice.
Michael Black

Having originally started out as an actuarial student in Final Salary Pensions, Michael joined Haffner Hoff as a trainee in 2001, qualifying as an accountant shortly after. Michael qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2004 and was promoted to partner in 2008.

Samuel joined Haffner Hoff in 2004, training up in audit and accounts and building his knowledge and experience in general practice. He was promoted to partner in 2018 and now oversees staff development in addition to his client facing roles.

Having trained with an independent firm in the city centre, Meir joined Haffner Hoff in 2014.
Meir manages a varied, general practice portfolio of clients with a core of property sector clients, both investment and development. He works closely with his clients, providing practical tax and accounting
Simon Abeles

Simon studied law at the London School of Economics and joined Haffner Hoff as a trainee in 2002. He was promoted to Partner in 2018.
He heads up our tax team and oversees delivery of both compliance and advisory services.

Having started out as the Finance Manager of a school in the North East, Menachem moved to Manchester in 2014, where he commenced training as a certified accountant at Haffner Hoff.
